Types of Exhaust Systems

Translate this page      using FreeTranslation.com

There is not much of a selection for stock configuration in exhaust.

Stock exhaust systems:

For Types 1 and 3: Stock is similar on both with the  exception of the length of the pipes and J Tubes.

Aftermarket exhaust systems:

Monza:  Monza exhaust is a single muffler collector with four exhaust exit ports.  This type of exhaust can get in the way of working on the engine and lowers your fuel economy.

Glass packs: Fiberglass filled mufflers

Zoom tubes: The  Zoom Tubes independently collects the exhaust from #1 and #2 as one tube and from #3 and #4 into a single collector tube.

Stingers: Full flow exhaust system.

Any of these can be bought from Gene Berg, Automotive Machine & Supply Inc., or Mid America Motorworks
